Privacy Policy

GrubPrep ("we", "us") is an AI meal-planning website at grubprep.app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and a password, or, if you choose "Continue with Google," your name and email address from your Google account. We do not receive your Google password or access your Gmail, contacts, or other Google data.
• Kitchen preferences you enter: things like household size, diet style, allergies, disliked foods, favorite cuisines, cooking time, equipment, budget, and preferred store.
• What you create in the app: weekly check-in answers, meal plans, grocery and prep checklists, favorites and ratings, pantry items, spending logs, price corrections, imported recipe links, and your conversations with Chef Grubberton.
• Device storage: your browser stores your sign-in session and some budget settings so the app works between visits.

How we use it

• To create your meal plans, grocery lists, prep timelines, and Chef Grubberton replies.
• To keep you signed in and save your data between visits.
• To respond to you if you contact us.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with advertisers.

Services that process your information

We rely on a few providers to run GrubPrep. They process your information only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase: stores your account and app data.
• Cloudflare: hosts the website.
• Anthropic: the AI that generates meal plans and Chef Grubberton replies. Your preferences, check-in answers, and chat messages are sent to Anthropic to produce those responses.
• Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Allergies and dietary information

Allergy and diet details you enter are used only to tailor your meal plans. GrubPrep's suggestions are AI-generated and are not a guarantee that any food is safe for you. Always check ingredient labels.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. To delete your account and everything associated with it, email andrewwarshal@gmail.com from the address on your account, and we will delete it.

Security

Your data is stored so that only your signed-in account can read or change it. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

GrubPrep is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
